What is a hydrosol? 

Hydrosols are created through a traditional steam distillation process. Fresh plant material is gently heated with water in a copper alembic still, allowing steam to rise through the plants and carry their aromatic and therapeutic qualities. As the steam cools, it condenses back into liquid. Copper has long been used in distillation for its ability to conduct heat evenly and support a clean, balanced extraction of the plant’s aromatic waters.

The hydrosol is the aromatic liquid that remains. It contains the water-soluble components of the plant, along with trace amounts of essential oils, making it far gentler than essential oils while still deeply effective.

Each batch is distilled slowly and with care, capturing the subtle character of the plant in a form that’s safe for daily use.

Please note:
Magnesium oil can cause a tingling, itchy, or warming sensation for some people, especially on first use or on sensitive skin. This is normal and usually eases with regular use. If uncomfortable, the spray can be rinsed off after 20 minutes, as the magnesium will have already absorbed through the skin.
